Election Peace Challenge Day 10
Here we are, just hours until Election Day—hours until all the votes are cast and the world waits for the outcome.
How will you use those hours? Will you feel despair, nervousness, or fear? Will you vote out of retribution or a need to be right?
Or will you feel a sense of peace? Will you cast your vote with a desire for the highest good?
The first option will create more tension in you and others. The second will bring more healing.
You get to choose.
I think all of us in the U.S. are blessed to be part of a grand experiment in democracy that’s constantly evolving. That evolution moves forward not just because of the people in office, but because of the choices for peace we all make every day.
No matter who is elected, our intentions for a higher good will guide us toward more inner harmony. And that can only create more peace in our families, our communities, and even the world.
So here’s the simple thing to do on this final day of the Election Peace Challenge:
Cast your vote with love.
No matter who you’re voting for, take a moment before you fill in the ballot to ask for guidance, to ask for blessings on our country, to ask that we create unity, and to ask for your fear-based thoughts to be healed so you can experience your own personal peace.
The energy with which you vote matters. So let’s make it count.
Then take a deep breath. It’s going to be okay.
