Much of life happens in our minds. I’ve learned to find joy in the small things born from the challenges I’ve faced. That’s the kind of satisfaction that stays..
A thoughtful piece that inspired great reflection. Thank you for inviting us on a beautiful journey that celebrates words — and their powerful meaning.
For some crazy reason, as I was reading this, I was thinking I was a Rolling Stones song, " I can't get no satisfaction! Not sure why. I liked this piece a lot, and I was thinking about whether there were aspects of life that I wasn't quite satisfied with. For the most part, I'm content. I feel like I'm in limbo about my job situation and the disability thing. And I haven't launched a writing career yet because it's my dream. That could be better, but it's up to me to do that, and no one else will, except for a bit of help from my friends, but you know what I mean. I'm dictating this on Microsoft Word, and then I'll copy it into the comment section because I'm still struggling with typing it by hand, and it's driving me nuts. I feel like I'm editing in slow motion right now, but maybe it's good for me to slow down and take a closer look at things I don't know. Anyway, this is something to think about! Thanks for this provoking thought.
Wow! Thank you, Debra. I needed that perspective today.
You're so welcome, Kathi! I'm glad it resonated with you.

You're welcome, Melody. And we're always in sync....Mick Jagger's voice echoed in my mind as I posted this, too!
