I was a group process facilitator until I retired, and in some ways I still am. Your story about the running shoes would be a great contextual introduction to a group’s practical action planning at the end of strategic planning.
You are so correct! I became a member of the Baby Steps Brigade years ago. It has helped me continue forward momentum, no matter the challenges or roadblocks I’ve faced along the way.
I can relate to this so well! Every day at some point, I do the same thing except for me. It’s my walking shoes. It’s not always if it’s in between sometimes it’s early in the day and sometimes it’s later. But at some point, I will always put my walking shoes on. And no matter what after I do that, I gotta walk! I love the idea of writing this to other aspects of life as well.
Love this Debra. Such a good metaphor and reminder!
Lovely. Thank you, Debra.
You're welcome, Kathi.

Yes, all about taking that first step. I can see how that would be useful after strategic planning. Feel free to share the story, Jo.

That's great to hear. The Baby Steps Brigade name says it all!

Those shoes were made for walking....especially among your beloved trees! xoxo
