Thank you for this, Debra. I love this reminder that items can be talismans, reminding of the sweetest of stories within.

Thank you, Debra. You have given us the opportunity to reflect on the little things that have anchored us to who we are and how we got here. My talisman is a cream pitcher that my mom gave my Grandmother on Mother’s Day long before I came along. It is a treasure and the story about it is a lovely, simple gift my mom gave me.

We have a bowl that looks and sounds exactly like yours which we have all used - my mother-in-law, me and my daughters. Many hands have held it to stir and mix things in. Loved this story and of course I teared up. Thank you.

Wow....I love that we have the same bowl. And I would have been disappointed if you hadn't teared up! xoxoxoxo

Thank you for reminding us of the treasure of the simple things that define where we have been and who we are. My talisman is a cream pitcher my mom gave to my grandmother for Mother's Day long before I came along. The pitcher and the story about it are precious to me.

I love that our memories spawn more memories for each other. Your cream pitcher makes me think of a pitcher my mom gave me....it had belonged to her mom. Thank you for this, Kathi. I hope you'll tell your story if you feel called to.

This story touched my heart, Deb. Not sure I have a bowl that would work for this, but I'm sure I must have something else here that holds the same kind of good vibrations!

Yes! You can choose any ordinary object that speaks to you and find out what story it holds. I'd love to see where it leads you.
