The backyard tree reminds me of parenting. We may try so hard to shape our kids in one way or another, and when we finally give up and let them be adults, they surprise us with blooms we never imagined!

Lovely, Nikki. I agree with you. We all want to be nurtured, not pruned!

And that tree is thinking, I’m glad this lady finally got the message. THIS is where I belong!

Good message to help make us think. Thanks.

I love this Deb. So much wisdom and love radiating onto the page that I am standing in the pure balance of light and shade under the sacred space under your tree as I read your words.

For me, I think of the sacred ocean.

The shade under the tree for me is like when I’m feeling pulled “back” into the vast depths of the ocean, until I catch another perfect wave and I am blissfully surfing the top of my wave forward again.

I often find myself calling those life moments Divine Timing, and I believe that is the miracle of them.

HOW SCHRÖDINGER'S CAT ESCAPED

Having one eye, now that

can make the world seem flat.

But sometimes, with a shout,

dimensions stretch out

for me, and for thee,

and the tree, and the cat.
